Discipleship starts with one step
Following Jesus is a journey taken together. Explore simple ways to begin, including prayer, Scripture, community, and Thursday discipleship at Iglesia Revive.

You don't have to know everything to begin
The word discipleship can sound like something reserved for people who already have their faith all figured out. But following Jesus begins with a willingness to take a step. It grows in ordinary moments: asking questions, reading Scripture, praying, and walking alongside other people.
At Iglesia Revive, our mission is to seek God, make disciples, and multiply believers. Discipleship is part of that mission because faith is meant to be lived, learned, and shared—not kept at a distance.
Make room for prayer
Prayer doesn't have to begin with perfect words. You can start by speaking honestly to God about what is on your mind, listening, and making time to return to that conversation. Gathering with others can help, too. Our Thursday prayer meeting at 7:00 p.m. is in Spanish, and everyone is welcome to join.
Learn with others
Scripture and community give us a place to grow. Ask a question, listen to another person's experience, and keep showing up. A new step may be as simple as opening the Bible with someone and talking about what you read. You don't need to make the journey alone.
Our Introduction to Discipleship classes are a welcoming place to begin. The English class meets Thursday at 7:00 p.m. and the Spanish class meets Thursday at 8:00 p.m. New people can join on any Thursday. Choose the language that is most comfortable for you and come as you are.
Take the next step
You can start by joining our bilingual Sunday worship at 2:00 p.m., or by coming to a Thursday gathering. We meet at 215 Rittenhouse St., Houston, TX 77076. See our weekly gatherings, or get in touch if you have a question before you visit.
One step is enough to begin.
